Nursing Programmes

The college of nursing sciences runs the following programmes:

(a) Basic Nursing Sciences

The entry requirements into Basic Nursing Science programme are:

  1. Five(5) "O" Level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and one of the subjects drawn from physical sciences (Biology, Agricultural Science etc.) not more than two sittings. Candidate should also have a satisfactory score in JAMB UTME.

(b) Post Basic Nursing Sciences

The entry requirements into Post Basic Nursing Science programme are:

  1. Five(5) "O" Level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and one of the subjects drawn from physical sciences (Biology, Agricultural Science etc.) not more than two sittings. Candidate should also have a satisfactory score in JAMB UTME.

(c) National Diploma in Nursing Sciences

The entry requirements into National Diploma in Nursing Sciences programme are:

  1. Five (5) "O" level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, and any one of the following, Geography, Economics, or Data Processing at not more than two sittings.

(d) Higher National Diploma in Nursing Sciences.

The entry requirements into Higher National Diploma in Nursing Sciences programme are:

  1. Five (5) "O" level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, and any one of the following, Geography, Economics, or Data Processing at not more than two sittings.
